2 Kings 12:15

They did not audit the treasurers who disbursed ¹  the funds to the foremen, for they were honest. ² 

They did not require an accounting from those to whom they gave the money to pay the workers, because they acted with complete honesty.

Moreover, they did not require an accounting from the men into whose hand they gave the money to pay to those who did the work, for they dealt faithfully.

No accounting was required from the construction supervisors, because they were honest and faithful workers.

And no one even had to check on the men who handled the money given for the project--they were honest men.

And they did not get any statement of accounts from the men to whom the money was given for the workmen, for they made use of it with good faith.

They did not ask an accounting from those into whose hand they delivered the money to pay out to the workers, for they dealt honestly.
