2 Kings 10:32

In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel’s territory. ¹  Hazael attacked their eastern border. ² 

In those days the LORD began to reduce the size of Israel. Hazael overpowered the Israelites throughout their territory

In those days the LORD began to cut off portions from Israel; and Hazael defeated them throughout the territory of Israel:

At about that time the LORD began to reduce the size of Israel’s territory. King Hazael conquered several sections of the country

It was about this time that GOD began to shrink Israel. Hazael hacked away at the borders of Israel

In those days the Lord was angry first with Israel; and Hazael made attacks on all the land of Israel,

In those days the LORD began to trim off parts of Israel. Hazael defeated them throughout the territory of Israel:

In those days the LORD began to cut off parts of Israel; and Hazael conquered them in all the territory of Israel

In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel’s territory. ¹  Hazael attacked their eastern border. ² 

¹ tn Heb “began to cut off Israel.”

² tn Heb “Hazael struck them down in all the territory of Israel, from the Jordan on the east.” In the Hebrew text the phrase “from the Jordan on the east” begins v. 33.
