2 Corinthians 10:17

But the one who boasts must boast in the Lord. ¹ 

But, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD.

As the Scriptures say, "The person who wishes to boast should boast only of what the Lord has done."

"If you want to claim credit, claim it for God."

But whoever has a desire for glory, let his glory be in the Lord.

"Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."

But "he who glories, let him glory in the LORD."

But the one who boasts must boast in the Lord. ¹ 

¹ tn The traditional translation (“let the one who boasts boast in the Lord”) can be understood as merely permissive by the English reader, but the Greek verb καυχάσθω (kaucasqw) is a third person imperative.
