1 Corinthians 11:19

For there must in fact be divisions among you, so that those of you who are approved may be evident. ¹ 

No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God’s approval.

For there must also be factions among you, so that those who are approved may become evident among you.

But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that those of you who are right will be recognized!

The best that can be said for it is that the testing process will bring truth into the open and confirm it.

For divisions are necessary among you, in order that those who have God’s approval may be clearly seen among you.

Indeed, there have to be factions among you, for only so will it become clear who among you are genuine.

For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you.

For there must in fact be divisions among you, so that those of you who are approved may be evident. ¹
