1 Kings 18:41

Then Elijah told Ahab, “Go on up and eat and drink, for the sound of a heavy rainstorm can be heard.” ¹ 

And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain."

Now Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower."

Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go and enjoy a good meal! For I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!"

Elijah said to Ahab, "Up on your feet! Eat and drink--celebrate! Rain is on the way; I hear it coming."

Then Elijah said to Ahab, Up! take food and drink, for there is a sound of much rain.

Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of rushing rain."

Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain."

Then Elijah told Ahab, “Go on up and eat and drink, for the sound of a heavy rainstorm can be heard.” ¹ 

¹ tn Heb “for [there is] the sound of the roar of the rain.”
