1 Corinthians 4:18

Some have become arrogant, ¹  as if I were not coming to you.

Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.

Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.

I know that some of you have become arrogant, thinking I will never visit you again.

I know there are some among you who are so full of themselves they never listen to anyone, let alone me. They don't think I'll ever show up in person.

Now some are full of pride, as if I was not coming to you.

But some of you, thinking that I am not coming to you, have become arrogant.

Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

Some have become arrogant, ¹  as if I were not coming to you.
