1 Corinthians 15:21

For since death came through a man, ¹  the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. ² 

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.

So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, Adam, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man, Christ.

There is a nice symmetry in this: Death initially came by a man, and resurrection from death came by a man.

For as by man came death, so by man there is a coming back from the dead.

For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being;

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

For since death came through a man, ¹  the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. ² 

¹ tn Or “through a human being” (a reference to Adam).

² tn Or “through a human being” (a reference to Jesus Christ).
