1 Chronicles 2:7

The son ¹  of Carmi: Achan, ²  who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God. ³ 

The son of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by violating the ban on taking devoted things.

The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who violated the ban.

Achan son of Carmi, one of Zerah’s descendants, brought disaster on Israel by taking plunder that had been set apart for the LORD.

Carmi had Achar, who brought doom on Israel when he violated a holy ban.

And the sons of Carmi: Achan, the troubler of Israel, who did wrong about the cursed thing.

The sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the matter of the devoted thing;

The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the accursed thing.

¹ tn Heb “sons.” The Hebrew text has the plural, but only one son is listed.
