1 Chronicles 11:14

but then they made a stand in the middle of that area. They defended it ¹  and defeated the Philistines; the Lord gave them a great victory. ² 

But they took their stand in the middle of the field. They defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

They took their stand in the midst of the plot and defended it, and struck down the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great victory.

But Eleazar and David held their ground in the middle of the field and beat back the Philistines. So the LORD saved them by giving them a great victory.

and then took its stand right in that field--and turned the tide! They slaughtered the Philistines, GOD helping them--a huge victory.

And he took up his position in the middle of the bit of land, and kept back their attack, and overcame the Philistines; and the Lord gave a great salvation.

But they stationed themselves in the middle of that field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory.
