Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will become holy in the sight of the Lord who rules over all, so that all who offer sacrifices may come and use some of them to boil their sacrifices in them. On that day there will no longer be a Canaanite 1 in the house of the Lord who rules over all.
See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God, that no one be like a bitter root springing up 1 and causing trouble, and through him many become defiled.
And the tongue is a fire! The tongue represents 1 the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies. It 2 pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence – and is set on fire by hell. 3
For the time that has passed was sufficient for you to do what the non-Christians 1 desire. 2 You lived then 3 in debauchery, evil desires, drunkenness, carousing, drinking bouts, 4 and wanton idolatries. 5

So also 1 Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, 2 since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire 3 in a way similar to 4 these angels, 5 are now displayed as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
These are the ones who have not defiled themselves 1 with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,
For all the nations 1 have fallen 2 from the wine of her immoral passion, 3 and the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have gotten rich from the power of her sensual behavior.” 4
because his judgments are true and just. 1 For he has judged 2 the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants 3 poured out by her own hands!” 4
But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, 1 idol worshipers, 2 and all those who lie, their place 3 will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. 4 That 5 is the second death.”
Tell him, ‘Your servants have taken care of cattle 1 from our youth until now, both we and our fathers,’ so that you may live in the land of Goshen, 2 for everyone who takes care of sheep is disgusting 3 to the Egyptians.”

If some of the meat of his peace offering sacrifice is ever eaten on the third day it will not be accepted; it will not be accounted to the one who presented it, since it is spoiled, 1 and the person who eats from it will bear his punishment for iniquity. 2
and he slaughtered it. 1 Moses then took the blood and put it all around on the horns of the altar with his finger and decontaminated the altar, 2 and he poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and so consecrated it to make atonement on it. 3
When he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and behaved unfaithfully toward her husband, the water that brings a curse will enter her to produce bitterness – her abdomen will swell, her thigh will fall away, and the woman will become a curse among her people.
