A king brings stability 1 to a land 2 by justice, but one who exacts tribute 3 tears it down.
He is your constant source of stability; 1 he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; 2 he gives all this to those who fear him. 3
When a country is rebellious 1 it has many princes, 2 but by someone who is discerning and knowledgeable 3 order is maintained. 4
No one 1 can be established 2 through wickedness, but a righteous root 3 cannot be moved.
They are fresh 1 every morning; your faithfulness is abundant! 2
by fitting your 1 feet with the preparation that comes from the good news 2 of peace, 3
Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The Lord’s word which you have announced is appropriate.” 1 Then he thought, 2 “For 3 there will be peace and stability during my lifetime.”
Lord, you give me stability and prosperity; 1 you make my future secure. 2
I will commit myself to you in faithfulness; then 1 you will acknowledge 2 the Lord.” 3
Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, 1 be on your guard that you do not get led astray by the error of these unprincipled men 2 and fall from your firm grasp on the truth. 3
He set up the pillars on the porch in front of the main hall. He erected one pillar on the right 1 side and called it Jakin; 2 he erected the other pillar on the left 3 side and called it Boaz. 4

He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right side and the other on the left. 1 He named the one on the right Jachin, 2 and the one on the left Boaz. 3
My flesh and my heart may grow weak, 1 but God always 2 protects my heart and gives me stability. 3
A benevolent 1 person leaves an inheritance 2 for his grandchildren, 3 but the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous. 4
I will take delight in doing good to them. I will faithfully and wholeheartedly plant them 1 firmly in the land.’
But I will most surely 1 heal the wounds of this city and restore it and its people to health. 2 I will show them abundant 3 peace and security.
People will be fainting from fear 1 and from the expectation of what is coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 2
because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) 1 is not from the Father, but is from the world.
These were the leaders of David’s warriors who helped establish and stabilize his rule over all Israel, in accordance with the Lord’s word. 1
