So this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and ¹  the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

The Lord will reign forever and ever!

Kings reign by means of me, and potentates ¹  decree ²  righteousness;

¹ At the beginning of the reign of Ahasuerus ²  they filed an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem. ³ 

These were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the Israelites: ¹ 

David was thirty years old when he began to reign and he reigned for forty years.

This Passover was observed in the eighteenth year of Josiah’s reign.

In Hebron he reigned over Judah for seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem ¹  he reigned for thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

David reigned over Israel forty years; he reigned in Hebron seven years, and in Jerusalem ¹  thirty-three years.

In the thirty-first year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Omri became king over Israel. He ruled for twelve years, six of them in Tirzah.

David son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

Saul was [thirty] ¹  years old when he began to reign; he ruled over Israel for [forty] ²  years.

In the thirty-seventh year of King Joash’s reign over Judah, Jehoahaz’s son Jehoash became king over Israel. He reigned in Samaria ¹  for sixteen years.

These six were born to David ¹  in Hebron, where he ruled for seven years and six months. He ruled thirty-three years in Jerusalem. ² 

He reigned over Israel forty years; he reigned in Hebron seven years and in Jerusalem ¹  thirty-three years.

Solomon ruled over all Israel from Jerusalem ¹  for forty years.

In the eighteenth year of the reign of King Jeroboam, Abijah became king over Judah.

God reigns ¹  over the nations! God sits on his holy throne!

Look, a king will promote fairness; ¹  officials will promote justice. ² 

They assembled in Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign.
