The pillars ¹  of the heavens tremble and are amazed at his rebuke. ² 

Better is open ¹  rebuke than hidden ²  love.

But Jesus ¹  turned and rebuked them, ² 

The Lord ¹  said to Satan, “May the Lord rebuke you, Satan! May the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, ²  rebuke you! Isn’t this man like a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

Your shout made the waters retreat; at the sound of your thunderous voice they hurried off –

But ¹  Jesus rebuked him: ²  “Silence! Come out of him!” ³ 

It is better for a person to receive ¹  a rebuke from those who are wise ²  than to listen to the song ³  of fools.

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

Those guilty of sin ¹  must be rebuked ²  before all, ³  as a warning to the rest. ⁴ 

At the sound of your battle cry, ¹  O God of Jacob, both rider ²  and horse “fell asleep.” ³ 

You reprimand arrogant people. Those who stray from your commands are doomed. ¹ 

A wise son accepts ¹  his father’s discipline, ²  but a scoffer ³  does not listen to rebuke.

A rebuke makes a greater impression on ¹  a discerning person than a hundred blows on a fool. ² 

He spoke openly about this. So ¹  Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

He would certainly rebuke ¹  you if you secretly ²  showed partiality!

It is burned ¹  and cut down. They die because you are displeased with them. ² 

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

Whoever corrects ¹  a mocker is asking for ²  insult; ³  whoever reproves a wicked person receives ⁴  abuse.

But there will be delight ¹  for those who convict ²  the guilty, ³  and a pleasing blessing ⁴  will come on them.
