“You aggressively attacked me ¹  and tried to knock me down, ²  but the Lord helped me.

Because you push with your side and your shoulder, and thrust your horns at all the weak sheep until you scatter them abroad, ¹ 

By your power ¹  we will drive back ²  our enemies; by your strength ³  we will trample down ⁴  our foes! ⁵

They turn the needy from the pathway, and the poor of the land hide themselves together. ¹

then you plunge me into a slimy pit ¹  and my own clothes abhor me.

They have almost destroyed me here on the earth, but I do not reject your precepts.

The Lord your God will drive them out from before you and remove them, ¹  so you can occupy ²  their land as the Lord your God promised ³  you.
