I will abundantly supply what she needs; ¹  I will give her poor all the food they need. ² 

Each day Solomon’s royal court consumed ¹  thirty cors ²  of finely milled flour, sixty cors of cereal,

He inquired of the Lord for him and gave him provisions. He also gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”

The men examined ¹  some of their provisions, but they failed to ask the Lord’s advice. ² 

Then Joseph gave orders to fill ¹  their bags with grain, to return each man’s money to his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. His orders were carried out. ² 

So the sons of Israel did as he said. ¹  Joseph gave them wagons as Pharaoh had instructed, ²  and he gave them provisions for the journey.

Solomon had twelve district governors appointed throughout Israel who acquired supplies for the king and his palace. Each was responsible for one month in the year.

Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires. ¹ 

The four victorious kings ¹  took all the possessions and food of Sodom and Gomorrah and left.

They had worn-out, patched sandals on their feet and dressed in worn-out clothes. All their bread ¹  was dry and hard. ² 

Our leaders and all who live in our land told us, ‘Take provisions for your journey and go meet them. Tell them, “We are willing to be your subjects. ¹  Make a treaty with us.”’

The men ¹  who were chosen ²  took supplies ³  and their trumpets. Gideon ⁴  sent all the men of Israel back to their homes; ⁵  he kept only three hundred men. Now the Midianites ⁶  were camped down below ⁷  in the valley.

For they were under royal orders ¹  which determined their activity day by day. ² 

yet it prepares its food in the summer; it gathers at the harvest what it will eat. ¹ 

To his father he sent the following: ¹  ten donkeys loaded with the best products of Egypt and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, food, and provisions for his father’s journey.

“Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.’” ¹ 

Make my son Solomon willing to obey your commands, rules, and regulations, and to complete building the palace for which I have made preparations.” ¹ 

He wisely placed some of his many sons throughout the regions of Judah and Benjamin in the various fortified cities. ¹  He supplied them with abundant provisions and acquired many wives for them. ² 

they did something clever. They collected some provisions ¹  and put worn-out sacks on their donkeys, along with worn-out wineskins that were ripped and patched.

This bread of ours was warm when we packed it in our homes the day we started out to meet you, ¹  but now it is dry and hard. ²
