Elihu said further: ² 

When he saw that this pleased the Jews, ¹  he proceeded to arrest Peter too. (This took place during the feast of Unleavened Bread.) ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. ²  I ³  have not come on my own initiative, ⁴  but he ⁵  sent me.

They entered Jerusalem to the sound of stringed instruments and trumpets and proceeded to the temple of the Lord.

It then extended to the slope of Ekron to the north, went toward Shikkeron, crossed to Mount Baalah, extended to Jabneel, and ended at the sea.

The second choir was proceeding ¹  in the opposite direction. I followed them, along with half the people, on top of the wall, past the Tower of the Ovens to the Broad Wall,

While the people were listening to these things, Jesus ¹  proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, ²  and because they thought ³  that the kingdom of God ⁴  was going to ⁵  appear immediately.

So build cities for your descendants and pens for your sheep, but do what you have said ¹  you would do.”

Noah, a man of the soil, ¹  began to plant a vineyard. ² 

Then Moses and Aaron went and brought together all the Israelite elders. ¹ 

This is what Moses did, according to all the Lord had commanded him – so he did.

Saul proceeded to the city ¹  of Amalek, where he set an ambush ²  in the wadi. ³ 

So ¹  he sent still a third. They even wounded this one, and threw him out.

But Peter began and explained it to them point by point, ¹  saying,

I brought the leaders of Judah up on top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs to give thanks. One was to proceed ¹  on the top of the wall southward toward the Dung Gate.

All ¹  were speaking well of him, and were amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth. They ²  said, “Isn’t this ³  Joseph’s son?”

When ¹  our time was over, ²  we left and went on our way. All of them, with their wives and children, accompanied ³  us outside of the city. After ⁴  kneeling down on the beach and praying, ⁵ 

From ¹  the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring ²  and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God, ³  were burning in front of the throne

The ¹  others were killed by the sword that extended from the mouth of the one who rode the horse, and all the birds gorged ²  themselves with their flesh.

From there they traveled through the Ephraimite hill country and arrived at Micah’s house.
