It was the day of preparation ¹  and the Sabbath was beginning. ² 

Hezekiah ordered that storerooms be prepared in the Lord’s temple. When this was done, ¹ 

So ¹  the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.

that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples: ¹ 

They ¹  said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare ²  it?”

Now ¹  the seven angels holding ²  the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

On the sixth day ¹  they will prepare what they bring in, and it will be twice as much as they gather every other day.” ² 

He prepared the inner sanctuary inside the temple so that the ark of the covenant of the Lord could be placed there.

Then ¹  they returned and prepared aromatic spices ²  and perfumes. ³  On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. ⁴ 

Judgments ¹  are prepared for scorners, and floggings for the backs of fools.
