The Lord wanted to exhibit his justice by magnifying his law and displaying it. ¹ 

So Herodias nursed a grudge against him and wanted to kill him. But ¹  she could not

Pilate addressed them once again because he wanted ¹  to release Jesus.

Now when they heard this, they became furious ¹  and wanted to execute them. ² 

Barnabas wanted to bring John called Mark along with them too,

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, ¹  the disciples would not let him.

Everyone ¹  in the world wanted to visit Solomon to see him display his God-given wisdom. ² 

David said to Solomon: “My son, I really wanted ¹  to build a temple to honor ²  the Lord my God.

All the kings of the earth wanted to visit Solomon to see him display his God-given wisdom. ¹ 

Although ¹  Herod ²  wanted to kill John, ³  he feared the crowd because they accepted John as a prophet.

“For this reason, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves. ¹ 

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds ¹  regarded him as a prophet.

During the feast the governor was accustomed to release one prisoner to the crowd, ¹  whomever they wanted.

Now ¹  Jesus went up the mountain ²  and called for those he wanted, and they came to him.

On ¹  the eighth day ²  they came to circumcise the child, and they wanted to name ³  him Zechariah after his father.

So ¹  they made signs to the baby’s ²  father, ³  inquiring what he wanted to name his son. ⁴ 

So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

On the next day Jesus ¹  wanted to set out for Galilee. ²  He ³  found Philip and said ⁴  to him, “Follow me.”

After this ¹  Jesus traveled throughout Galilee. ²  He ³  stayed out of Judea ⁴  because the Jewish leaders ⁵  wanted ⁶  to kill him.

He became hungry and wanted to eat, but while they were preparing the meal, a trance came over him. ¹
