The Philistines again raided the valley.

So Isaac left there and settled in the Gerar Valley. ¹ 

So we settled down in the valley opposite Beth Peor. ¹ 

Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar on the hill in the valley,

in Lod, Ono, and ¹  the Valley of the Craftsmen. ² 

So I, the Lord, say: ¹  “The time will soon come that people will no longer call this place Topheth or the Hinnom Valley. But they will call this valley ²  the Valley of Slaughter!

Their territory started at Aroer ¹  (on the edge of the Arnon Valley) and included the city in the middle of the valley, the whole plain of Medeba,
