For ¹  there are three that testify, ² 

“If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.

Your own mouth condemns ¹  you, not I; your own lips testify against ²  you.

¹ Appoint an evil man to testify against him! ²  May an accuser stand ³  at his right side!

He himself was not the light, but he came to testify ¹  about the light.

He did not need anyone to testify about man, ¹  for he knew what was in man. ² 

So the Pharisees ¹  objected, ²  “You testify about yourself; your testimony is not true!” ³ 

I testify about myself ¹  and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Do not turn me over to my enemies, ¹  for false witnesses who want to destroy me testify against me. ² 

Whoever shares with a thief ¹  is his own enemy; ²  he hears the oath to testify, ³  but does not talk.

By saying this you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets.

He came as a witness ¹  to testify ²  about the light, so that everyone ³  might believe through him.

You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ ¹  but rather, ‘I have been sent before him.’

About him all the prophets testify, ¹  that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins ²  through his name.”

For I can testify that they are zealous for God, ¹  but their zeal is not in line with the truth. ² 

For I testify, they gave according to their means and beyond their means. They did so voluntarily, ¹ 

For I can testify that he has worked hard ¹  for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior ¹  of the world.

Also seat two villains opposite him and have them testify, ‘You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”
