For you have said, ‘My teaching ¹  is flawless, and I am pure in your sight.’

My child, ²  do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep ³  my commandments,

Because I give ¹  you good instruction, ²  do not forsake my teaching.

The teaching ¹  of the righteous feeds ²  many, but fools die ³  for lack of wisdom. ⁴ 

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

and they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’” ¹ 

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

He taught them many things in parables, ¹  and in his teaching said to them:

They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.’ ¹ 

They ¹  were amazed ²  at his teaching, because he spoke ³  with authority. ⁴ 

After Jesus ¹  had finished teaching all this to the people, ²  he entered Capernaum. ³ 

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues ¹  on the Sabbath,

Then ¹  Jesus ²  traveled throughout ³  towns ⁴  and villages, teaching and making his way toward ⁵  Jerusalem. ⁶ 

Jesus ¹  said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue ²  in Capernaum. ³ 

So Jesus replied, ¹  “My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me. ² 

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  if anyone obeys ²  my teaching, ³  he will never see death.” ⁴ 

While this was happening, ¹  the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching. ² 

angry ¹  because they were teaching the people and announcing ²  in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

So he stayed there ¹  a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. ² 

If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;
