And another man ¹  dies in bitterness of soul, ²  never having tasted ³  anything good.

tasted the good word of God and the miracles of the coming age,

The house of Israel ¹  called its name “manna.” ²  It was like coriander seed and was white, and it tasted ³  like wafers with honey.

Then Jonathan said, “My father has caused trouble for the land. See how my eyes gleamed ¹  when I tasted just a little of this honey.
