So they spent ¹  considerable ²  time with the disciples.

They spent three days feasting ¹  there with David, for their relatives had given them provisions.

And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and spent the night there.

So the gifts were sent on ahead of him ¹  while he spent that night in the camp. ² 

The traders and sellers of all kinds of merchandise spent the night outside Jerusalem once or twice.

They went through the pass, spent the night at Geba. Ramah trembled, Gibeah of Saul ran away.

After this, ¹  Jesus and his disciples came into Judean territory, and there he spent time with them and was baptizing.

Then Jacob offered a sacrifice ¹  on the mountain and invited his relatives to eat the meal. ²  They ate the meal and spent the night on the mountain.

The captain of the guard appointed Joseph to be their attendant, and he served them. ¹  They spent some time in custody. ² 

So Joshua made sure they marched the ark of the Lord around the city one time. ¹  Then they went back to the camp and spent the night there. ² 

Joshua sent them away and they went to their hiding place ¹  west of Ai, between Bethel ²  and Ai. ³  Joshua spent that night with the army. ⁴ 

He went into a cave there and spent the night. All of a sudden the Lord spoke to him, “Why are you here, Elijah?”

Then the king departed to his palace. But he spent the night without eating, and no diversions ¹  were brought to him. He was unable to sleep. ² 

You did not bring me ¹  sacrifices and grain offerings during the forty years you spent in the wilderness, family ²  of Israel.

She had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet instead of getting better, she grew worse.

Now ¹  it was during this time that Jesus ²  went out to the mountain ³  to pray, and he spent all night ⁴  in prayer to God. ⁵ 

Then ¹  after he had spent everything, a severe famine took place in that country, and he began to be in need.

After ¹  they had spent some time there, ²  they were sent off in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them. ³ 

After he spent ¹  some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia ²  and Phrygia, ³  strengthening all the disciples.

Now I will most gladly spend and be spent for your lives! ¹  If I love you more, am I to be loved less?
