It was he ¹  who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, ² 

The Israelites did so, and they gathered – some more, some less.

“Come, eat ¹  some of my food, and drink some of the wine I have mixed. ² 

But other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.

But ¹  other seed fell on good soil and produced grain, sprouting and growing; some yielded thirty times as much, some sixty, and some a hundred times.”

Joshua campaigned against ¹  these kings for quite some time. ² 

(But some of the priests mixed the spices.)

When ¹  they saw him, they worshiped him, ²  but some doubted. ³ 

Some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: ¹ 

But we must ¹  run aground on some island.”

For some have already wandered away to follow Satan. ¹

Then some of the experts in the law ¹  along with some Pharisees ²  answered him, ³  “Teacher, we want to see a sign ⁴  from you.”

So then some were shouting one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had met together. ¹ 

and the rest were to follow, ¹  some on planks ²  and some on pieces of the ship. ³  And in this way ⁴  all were brought safely to land.

When he drank some of the wine, he got drunk and uncovered himself ¹  inside his tent.
