For those who sleep, sleep at night and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

Look! Israel’s protector ¹  does not sleep or slumber!

In a dream, a night vision, when deep sleep falls on people as they sleep in their beds.

For they cannot sleep unless they cause harm; ¹  they are robbed of sleep ²  until they make someone stumble. ³

I was consumed by scorching heat ¹  during the day and by piercing cold ²  at night, and I went without sleep. ³
