Like a madman ¹  who shoots firebrands and deadly arrows, ² 

He is a well-watered plant ¹  in ²  the sun, its shoots spread ³  over its garden. ⁴ 

at the scent ¹  of water it will flourish ²  and put forth ³  shoots like a new plant.

Its breath sets coals ablaze and a flame shoots from its mouth.

Its branches reached the Mediterranean Sea, ¹  and its shoots the Euphrates River. ²
