And he was transfigured before them. ¹  His ²  face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone; ¹  and they were afraid to approach him.

An ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to ³  them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified. ⁴ 

When the Israelites would see ¹  the face of Moses, that ²  the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord. ³ 

Suddenly ¹  an angel of the Lord ²  appeared, and a light shone in the prison cell. He struck ³  Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off Peter’s ⁴  wrists. ⁵ 

He held ¹  seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp double-edged sword extended out of his mouth. His ²  face shone like the sun shining at full strength.

¹ Now when Moses came down ²  from Mount Sinai with ³  the two tablets of the testimony in his hand ⁴  – when he came down ⁵  from the mountain, Moses ⁶  did not know that the skin of his face shone ⁷  while he talked with him.
