This brought him a reward, an eternal gift. ¹ 

He ¹  will reward ²  each one according to his works: ³ 

Look, the Lord announces to the entire earth: ¹  “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘Look, your deliverer comes! Look, his reward is with him and his reward goes before him!’” ² 

Let him not trust in what is worthless, ¹  deceiving himself; for worthlessness will be his reward. ² 

Certainly ¹  you reward ²  the godly, ³  Lord. Like a shield you protect ⁴  them ⁵  in your good favor. ⁶ 

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹  those who obey them receive a rich reward. ²

The reward ¹  which the righteous receive ²  is life; the recompense ³  which the wicked receive ⁴  is judgment. ⁵ 

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

The reward ¹  for humility ²  and fearing the Lord ³  is riches and honor and life.

for you will heap coals of fire on his head, ¹  and the Lord will reward you. ² 

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.

So do not throw away your confidence, because it ¹  has great reward.

Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever ¹  receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

Now may the Lord show you true kindness! ¹  I also will reward you, ²  because you have done this deed.

For you, O God, hear my vows; you grant me the reward that belongs to your loyal followers. ¹ 

so that your gift may be in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. ¹ 

because you know that you will receive your ¹  inheritance ²  from the Lord as the reward. Serve ³  the Lord Christ.

Watch out, so that you do not lose the things we have worked for, ¹  but receive a full reward. ²
