The reward ¹  which the righteous receive ²  is life; the recompense ³  which the wicked receive ⁴  is judgment. ⁵ 

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; ¹  those who obey them receive a rich reward. ² 

To receive ¹  moral instruction ²  in skillful living, ³  in ⁴  righteousness, ⁵  justice, ⁶  and equity. ⁷ 

My child, ²  if ³  you receive my words, and store up ⁴  my commands within you,

Receive my instruction ¹  rather than ²  silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold.

And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, ¹  you will receive.”

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Receive ²  your sight; your faith has healed you.” ³ 

He came to what was his own, ¹  but ²  his own people ³  did not receive him. ⁴ 

John replied, ¹  “No one can receive anything unless it has been given to him from heaven.

And after he said this, he breathed on them and said, ¹  “Receive the Holy Spirit. ² 

So the lame man ¹  paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

They ¹  continued to stone Stephen while he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

These two ¹  went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

and know his will ¹  and approve the superior things because you receive instruction from the law, ² 

Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory.

If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.

And these all were commended ¹  for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. ² 

For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,

Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever ¹  receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

But if they do not cross over with you armed, they must receive possessions among you in Canaan.”
