Therefore, prophesy against them! Prophesy, son of man!”

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  Sidon ²  and prophesy against it.

saying, “Prophesy for us, you Christ! ¹  Who hit you?” ² 

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,

“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to the prophets who prophesy from their imagination: ¹  ‘Hear the word of the Lord!

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them:

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  the Ammonites ²  and prophesy against them.

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  Mount Seir, ²  and prophesy against it.

“But you made the Nazirites drink wine; ¹  you commanded the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy!’

Don’t prophesy at Bethel ¹  any longer, for a royal temple and palace are here!” ² 

They ¹  blindfolded him and asked him repeatedly, ²  “Prophesy! Who hit you?” ³ 

Pursue love and be eager for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

For you can all prophesy one after another, so all can learn and be encouraged.

Then ¹  they ²  told me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, ³  languages, and kings.”

You must turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem with your arm bared and prophesy against it.

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  Jerusalem ²  and speak out against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“Son of man, turn toward ¹  Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

“Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: “‘Wail, “Alas, the day is here!” ¹ 

Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them: ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

A lion has roared! ¹  Who is not afraid? The sovereign Lord has spoken! Who can refuse to prophesy? ²
