They rejected ¹  the God who delivered them, the one who performed great deeds in Egypt,

Jesus replied, ¹  “I performed one miracle ²  and you are all amazed. ³ 

He ¹  performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people ² 

when he performed his awesome deeds ¹  in Egypt, and his acts of judgment ²  in the region of Zoan.

Where are your earlier faithful deeds, ¹  O Lord, ²  the ones performed in accordance with your reliable oath to David? ³ 

He performed awesome deeds ¹  and acts of judgment ²  in your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.

When you performed awesome deeds that took us by surprise, ¹  you came down, and the mountains trembled ²  before you.

Because they had heard that Jesus ¹  had performed this miraculous sign, the crowd went out to meet him.

Although Jesus ¹  had performed ²  so many miraculous signs before them, they still refused to believe in him,

Now Jesus performed ¹  many other miraculous signs in the presence of the ²  disciples, which are not recorded ³  in this book. ⁴ 

For the man, on whom this miraculous sign ¹  of healing had been performed, ²  was over forty years old.

Indeed, the signs of an apostle were performed among you with great perseverance ¹  by signs and wonders and powerful deeds. ² 

They did not see ¹  the awesome deeds he performed ²  in the midst of Egypt against Pharaoh king of Egypt and his whole land,

They performed music ¹  before the sanctuary ²  of the meeting tent until Solomon built the Lord’s temple in Jerusalem. ³  They carried out their tasks according to regulations.

They performed the service of their God and the service of purification, along with the singers and gatekeepers, according to the commandment of David and ¹  his son Solomon.

So ¹  when Joseph and Mary ²  had performed ³  everything according to the law of the Lord, ⁴  they returned to Galilee, to their own town ⁵  of Nazareth. ⁶ 

Many ¹  came to him and began to say, “John ²  performed ³  no miraculous sign, but everything John said about this man ⁴  was true!”

Then he presented the people’s offering. He took the sin offering male goat which was for the people, slaughtered it, and performed a decontamination rite with it ¹  like the first one. ²
