He spoke openly about this. So ¹  Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

However, no one spoke openly about him for fear of the Jewish leaders. ¹ 

Look, they hurl insults at me and openly threaten to kill me, ¹  for they say, ²  “Who hears?”

Therefore show ¹  them openly before the churches the proof of your love and of our pride in you. ² 

This is what the Lord says, “Promote ¹  justice! Do what is right! For I am ready to deliver you; I am ready to vindicate you openly. ² 

Then Jesus began to criticize openly the cities ¹  in which he had done many of his miracles, because they did not repent.

But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus ¹  himself also went up, not openly but in secret.

So he was staying with them, associating openly with them ¹  in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord.

With him I will speak face to face, ¹  openly, ²  and not in riddles; and he will see the form ³  of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

The look on their faces ¹  testifies to their guilt; ²  like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin. ³  Too bad for them! ⁴  For they bring disaster on themselves.

But as the man ¹  went out he began to announce it publicly and spread the story widely, so that Jesus ²  was no longer able to enter any town openly but stayed outside in remote places. Still ³  they kept coming ⁴  to him from everywhere.
