Because ¹  you have closed their ²  minds to understanding, therefore you will not exalt them. ³ 

Those prophets are just prophesying lies. They are prophesying the delusions of their own minds. ¹ 

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, ¹ 

But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, ¹ 

They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern. ¹ 

While I was watching in my mind’s visions ¹  on my bed, a holy sentinel ²  came down from heaven.

Now some of the experts in the law ¹  were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds: ² 

But the Jews who refused to believe ¹  stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds ²  against the brothers.

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds ¹  in Christ Jesus.

And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your ¹  minds ²  as expressed through ³  your evil deeds,

Then you must recall the Lord’s instructions and the prophetic testimony of what would happen. ¹  Certainly they say such things because their minds are spiritually darkened. ² 

The godly ¹  perish, but no one cares. ²  Honest people disappear, ³  when no one ⁴  minds ⁵  that the godly ⁶  disappear ⁷  because of ⁸  evil. ⁹ 

But later ¹  they had changed their minds. They had taken back their male and female slaves that they had freed and forced them to be slaves again. ² 

Since we have heard that some have gone out from among us with no orders from us and have confused ¹  you, upsetting ²  your minds ³  by what they said, ⁴ 

So if the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and unbelievers or uninformed people enter, will they not say that you have lost your minds?

For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.

But I am afraid that ¹  just as the serpent ²  deceived Eve by his treachery, ³  your minds may be led astray ⁴  from a sincere and pure ⁵  devotion to Christ.

and constant bickering by people corrupted in their minds and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness ¹  is a way of making a profit.

And just as Jannes and Jambres ¹  opposed Moses, so these people – who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith ²  – also oppose the truth.

All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
