The bad-looking, thin cows ate the seven fine-looking, fat cows. Then Pharaoh woke up.

When Joseph came to them in the morning, he saw that they were looking depressed. ¹ 

The lean, bad-looking cows ate up the seven ¹  fat cows.

They wander around looking for something to eat; they refuse to sleep until they are full. ¹ 

Those who linger over wine, those who go looking for mixed wine. ¹ 

From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

So the Jewish leaders ¹  were looking for him at the feast, asking, “Where is he?” ² 

Then Jesus ¹  asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

Then ¹  seven other cows came up after them; they were scrawny, very bad-looking, and lean. I had never seen such bad-looking cows ²  as these in all the land of Egypt!

One basket had very good-looking figs in it. They looked like those that had ripened early. ¹  The other basket had very bad-looking figs in it, so bad they could not be eaten.

He replied, “I’m looking for my brothers. Please tell ¹  me where they are grazing their flocks.”

seven fine-looking, fat cows were coming up out of the Nile, ¹  and they grazed in the reeds.

When Jacob heard ¹  there was grain in Egypt, he ²  said to his sons, “Why are you looking at each other?” ³ 

They went to the entrance of Gedor, to the east of the valley, looking for pasture for their sheep.

Like a servant ¹  longing for the evening shadow, ²  and like a hired man looking ³  for his wages, ⁴ 

I am exhausted from shouting for help; my throat is sore; ¹  my eyes grow tired of looking for my God. ² 

I have wandered off like a lost sheep. ¹  Come looking for your servant, for I do not forget your commands.

Surely I am looking to you, ¹  O sovereign Lord. In you I take shelter. Do not expose me to danger! ² 

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴
