The sea looked and fled; ¹  the Jordan River ²  turned back. ³ 

When ¹  they looked up, all they saw was Jesus alone.

But ¹  he looked around to see who had done it.

He looked up at the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three ¹  eunuchs looked down at him.

“I looked at the land and saw ¹  that it was an empty wasteland. ²  I looked up at the sky, and its light had vanished.

Now ¹  the locusts looked like horses equipped for battle. On ²  their heads were something like crowns similar to gold, ³  and their faces looked like men’s ⁴  faces.

But Lot’s ¹  wife looked back longingly ²  and was turned into a pillar of salt.

Rebekah looked up ¹  and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel

then he looked at wisdom ¹  and assessed its value; ²  he established ³  it and examined it closely. ⁴ 

For at the window of my house through my window lattice I looked out

O Lord, in distress they looked for you; they uttered incantations because of your discipline. ¹
