They mixed in with the nations and learned their ways. ¹

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.

You learned the gospel ¹  from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave ²  – a ³  faithful minister of Christ on our ⁴  behalf –

You, however, must continue ¹  in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know ²  who taught you ³
