But the word of God ¹  kept on increasing ²  and multiplying.

Jehoshaphat’s power kept increasing. He built fortresses and storage cities throughout Judah.

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹ 

The one who increases his wealth by increasing interest ¹  gathers it for someone who is gracious ²  to the needy.

His father’s family will gain increasing prominence because of him, ¹  including the offspring and the offshoots. ²  All the small containers, including the bowls and all the jars will hang from this peg.’ ³ 

As ¹  the crowds were increasing, Jesus ²  began to say, “This generation is a wicked generation; it looks for a sign, ³  but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. ⁴ 

For if ¹  these things are really yours ²  and are continually increasing, ³  they will keep you from becoming ⁴  ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of ⁵  knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately. ⁶
