Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:

This fulfilled what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet: ¹ 

For I tell you that this scripture must be ¹  fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors.’ ²  For what is written about me is being fulfilled.” ³ 

“I have ¹  fresh meat at home; ²  today I have fulfilled my vows!

Hope ¹  deferred ²  makes the heart sick, ³  but a longing fulfilled ⁴  is like ⁵  a tree of life.

A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools abhor ¹  turning away from evil.

מ (Mem) Whose command was ever fulfilled ¹  unless the Lord ²  decreed it?

so that what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: ¹ 

How then would the scriptures that say it must happen this way be fulfilled?”

You have kept your word to your servant, my father David; ¹  this very day you have fulfilled what you promised. ²

My eyes grow tired as I wait for your promise to be fulfilled. ¹  I say, ²  “When will you comfort me?”

This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:

In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: ¹  “He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.” ² 

He ¹  said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God ²  is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

Now ¹  many have undertaken to compile an account ²  of the things ³  that have been fulfilled ⁴  among us,

And blessed ¹  is she who believed that ²  what was spoken to her by ³  the Lord would be fulfilled.” ⁴ 

Then ¹  he began to tell them, “Today ²  this scripture has been fulfilled even as you heard it being read.” ³ 

For I tell you, I will not eat it again ¹  until it is fulfilled ²  in the kingdom of God.” ³
