but people ¹  are born ²  to trouble, as surely as the sparks ³  fly ⁴  upward. ⁵ 

A fool lets fly with all his temper, ¹  but a wise person keeps it back. ² 

Who are these who float along ¹  like a cloud, who fly like doves to their shelters? ² 

I say, ¹  “I wish I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and settle in a safe place!
