Everyone will be salted with fire. ¹ 

So I will set Gaza’s city wall ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume her fortresses.

So I will set fire to Tyre’s city wall; ¹  fire ²  will consume her fortresses.”

So I will set Teman ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume Bozrah’s ³  fortresses.”

After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a soft whisper. ¹ 

‘Surely our enemies ¹  are destroyed, and fire consumes their wealth.’

The Lord’s shout strikes ¹  with flaming fire. ² 

Fire consumed their ¹  young men, and their ²  virgins remained unmarried. ³ 

Fire burned their group; the flames scorched the wicked. ¹ 

For our God is indeed a devouring fire. ¹ 

and the sons of Aaron, the priest, ¹  must put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.

So I will set Hazael’s house ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume Ben Hadad’s ³  fortresses.

Then ¹  Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death – the lake of fire.

Then ¹  Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, each took his fire pan and put fire in it, set incense on it, and presented strange fire ²  before the Lord, which he had not commanded them to do.

And the tongue is a fire! The tongue represents ¹  the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies. It ²  pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence – and is set on fire by hell. ³ 

Sinners are afraid in Zion; panic ¹  grips the godless. ²  They say, ³  ‘Who among us can coexist with destructive fire? Who among us can coexist with unquenchable ⁴  fire?’

(64:1) As when fire ignites dry wood, or fire makes water boil, let your adversaries know who you are, ¹  and may the nations shake at your presence!

Again, take more of them and throw them into the fire, ¹  and burn them up. From there a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.

You must not kindle a fire ¹  in any of your homes ²  on the Sabbath day.” ³ 

A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.
