The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up, ¹  but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

Is it at your command ¹  that the eagle soars, and builds its nest on high?

The one who loves a quarrel loves transgression; ¹  whoever builds his gate high seeks destruction. ² 

If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, ¹

Even the birds find a home there, and the swallow ¹  builds a nest, where she can protect her young ²  near your altars, O Lord who rules over all, my king and my God.

He builds the upper rooms of his palace ¹  in heaven and sets its foundation supports ²  on the earth. ³  He summons the water of the sea and pours it out on the earth’s surface. The Lord is his name.

The one who builds his house by unjust gain is as good as dead. ¹  He does this so he can build his nest way up high and escape the clutches of disaster. ²
