What benefit can a worker ¹  gain from his toil? ² 

For her ¹  benefit ²  is more profitable ³  than silver, and her ⁴  gain ⁵  is better ⁶  than gold.

lest strangers devour ¹  your strength, ²  and your labor ³  benefit ⁴  another man’s house.

What benefit ¹  do people ²  get from all the effort which ³  they expend ⁴  on earth? ⁵ 

Two people are better than one, because they can reap ¹  more benefit ²  from their labor.

For what benefit is it for a person ¹  to gain the whole world, yet ²  forfeit his life?

For what does it benefit a person ¹  if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?
