“Remember ¹  the Sabbath ²  day to set it apart as holy. ³ 

Set them apart ¹  in the truth; your word is truth.

And I set myself apart ¹  on their behalf, ²  so that they too may be truly set apart. ³ 

Then Abraham set seven ewe lambs apart from the flock by themselves.

Therefore, I am commanding you to set apart for yourselves three cities.

For no one ¹  can eat and drink ²  or experience joy ³  apart from him. ⁴ 

“So I will set apart as holy ¹  the tent of meeting and the altar, and I will set apart as holy Aaron and his sons, that they may minister as priests to me.

Abimelech asked Abraham, “What is the meaning of these ¹  seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?”

There I will meet ¹  with the Israelites, and it will be set apart as holy by my glory. ² 

Then I set apart twelve of the leading priests, together with ¹  Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers, ² 

(63:19b) ¹  If only you would tear apart the sky ²  and come down! The mountains would tremble ³  before you!

All things were created ¹  by him, and apart from him not one thing was created ²  that has been created. ³ 

From Paul, ¹  a slave ²  of Christ Jesus, ³  called to be an apostle, ⁴  set apart for the gospel of God. ⁵ 

For we consider that a person ¹  is declared righteous by faith apart from the works of the law. ² 

So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

And I was once alive apart from the law, but with the coming of the commandment sin became alive

Apart from other things, ¹  there is the daily pressure on me of my anxious concern ²  for all the churches.

But when the one ¹  who set me apart from birth ²  and called me by his grace was pleased

“Set apart ¹  to me every firstborn male – the first offspring of every womb ²  among the Israelites, whether human or animal; it is mine.” ³
