The pillars ¹  of the heavens tremble and are amazed at his rebuke. ² 

Be amazed at this, O heavens! ¹  Be shocked and utterly dumbfounded,” says the Lord.

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

All the crowds were amazed and said, “Could this one be the Son of David?”

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

But he did not answer even one accusation, so that the governor was quite amazed.

When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran ¹  at once and greeted him.

But Jesus made no further reply, so that Pilate was amazed.

So ¹  the child’s ²  father ³  and mother were amazed ⁴  at what was said about him.

They ¹  were amazed ²  at his teaching, because he spoke ³  with authority. ⁴ 

Furthermore, some women of our group amazed us. ¹  They ²  were at the tomb early this morning,

Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all ¹  be born from above.’ ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I performed one miracle ²  and you are all amazed. ³ 

When the disciples saw it they were amazed, saying, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then ¹  he went around among the villages and taught.

He ¹  asked for a writing tablet ²  and wrote, ³  “His name is John.” And they were all amazed. ⁴ 

And they paid close attention to him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic.

You will be shocked and amazed! ¹  You are totally blind! ²  They are drunk, ³  but not because of wine; they stagger, ⁴  but not because of beer.

And the men ¹  were amazed and said, ²  “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” ³ 

After the demon was cast out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowds were amazed and said, “Never has anything like this been seen in Israel!”
