There on the hillside, ¹  a great herd of pigs was feeding.

This is how you are to deal with all those cities located far from you, those that do not belong to these nearby nations.

And so, because it was the Jewish day of preparation ¹  and the tomb was nearby, ²  they placed Jesus’ body there.

Do not forsake your friend and your father’s friend, and do not enter your brother’s house in the day of your disaster; a neighbor nearby is better than a brother far away. ¹ 

After him the priests worked, men of the nearby district.

He called that place Bethel, ¹  although the former name of the town was Luz.
