Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Five curtains are to be joined, ¹  one to another, ²  and the other ³  five curtains are to be joined, one to another.

It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be joined together. ¹ 

They lock tightly together, one to the next; ¹  they cling together and cannot be separated.

Ephraim has attached himself to idols; Do not go near him!

He joined ¹  five of the curtains to one another, and the other ²  five curtains he joined to one another.

The Jews also joined in the verbal attack, ¹  claiming ²  that these things were true.

Even Assyria has allied with them, lending its strength to the descendants of Lot. ¹  (Selah)

None of the rest dared to join them, ¹  but the people held them in high honor. ² 

He joined five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves.

Join ¹  them as one stick; ²  they will be as one in your hand.

The folds ¹  of its flesh are tightly joined; they are firm on it, immovable. ² 

They worshiped ¹  Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead. ² 

Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.”

When Israel joined themselves to Baal-peor, ¹  the anger of the Lord flared up against Israel.

When they stumble, they will be granted some help. But many will unite with them deceitfully.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

But the one united with ¹  the Lord is one spirit with him. ² 

These last five kings ¹  joined forces ²  in the Valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea). ³ 

But whoever is among ¹  the living ²  has hope; a live dog is better than a dead lion.
