I do not need to take ¹  a bull from your household or goats from your sheepfolds.

God says, ¹  “At the appointed times, ²  I judge ³  fairly.

And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

I will select ¹  you; you will rule over all you desire to have and you will be king over Israel.

But Elisha ¹  replied, “As certainly as the Lord lives (whom I serve), ²  I will take nothing from you.” Naaman ³  insisted that he take it, but he refused.

Let your private parts be exposed! Your genitals will be on display! ¹  I will get revenge; I will not have pity on anyone,” ² 

that I will take nothing ¹  belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal. That way you can never say, ‘It is I ²  who made Abram rich.’

I will not take the whole kingdom from his hand. I will allow him to be ruler for the rest of his life for the sake of my chosen servant David who kept my commandments and rules.
