Then they reported to Jezebel, “Naboth has been stoned to death.” ¹ 

Pharaoh gave his men orders about Abram, ¹  and so they expelled him, along with his wife and all his possessions.

So the men inside ¹  reached out ²  and pulled Lot back into the house ³  as they shut the door.

So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, accompanied by her female attendant, with Abraham’s servant and his men.

They sent for him, ¹  and Jeroboam and the whole Israelite assembly came and spoke to Rehoboam, saying,

Conspirators plotted against him in Jerusalem, ¹  so he fled to Lachish. But they sent assassins after him ²  and they killed him there.

The entire assembly sent messengers to the Benjaminites at the cliff of Rimmon and assured them they would not be harmed. ¹ 

So they sent messengers to the residents of Kiriath Jearim, saying, “The Philistines have returned the ark of the Lord. Come down here and take it back home with you.”

They cut off Saul’s ¹  head and stripped him of his armor. They sent messengers to announce the news in the temple of their idols and among their people throughout the surrounding land of the Philistines.

He ¹  won over the hearts of all the men of Judah as though they were one man. Then they sent word to the king saying, “Return, you and all your servants as well.”

But they were so insistent, he became embarrassed. So he said, “Send them out.” They sent the fifty men out and they looked for three days, but could not find Elijah. ¹ 

When they received the letter, they seized the king’s sons and executed all seventy of them. ¹  They put their heads in baskets and sent them to him in Jezreel.

They stripped his corpse, and then carried off his head and his armor. They sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines proclaiming the news to their idols and their people.
