His hair ¹  began to grow back after it had been shaved off.

Then I spoke up, “Let a clean turban be put on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood nearby.

“When a man’s head is bare so that he is balding in back, ¹  he is clean.

Can you fill its hide with harpoons or its head with fishing spears?

His head is like the most pure gold. ¹  His hair is curly ²  – black like a raven.

You are to put the turban on his head and put the holy diadem ¹  on the turban.

You are to take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him. ¹ 

Then you are to cut the ram into pieces and wash the entrails and its legs and put them on its pieces and on its head

But the hide of the bull, all its flesh along with its head and its legs, its entrails, and its dung –

If his head is bare on the forehead ¹  so that he is balding in front, ²  he is clean.

“‘All the days of the vow ¹  of his separation no razor may be used on his head ²  until the time ³  is fulfilled for which he separated himself to the Lord. He will be holy, ⁴  and he must let ⁵  the locks of hair on his head grow long.

They had entered ¹  the house while Ish-bosheth ²  was resting on his bed in his bedroom. They mortally wounded him ³  and then cut off his head. ⁴  Taking his head, ⁵  they traveled on the way of the Arabah all that night.

When he would shave his head – at the end of every year he used to shave his head, for it grew too long ¹  and he would shave it – he used to weigh the hair of his head at three pounds ²  according to the king’s weight.

Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this is the firstborn. Put your right hand on his head.”

Do not eat it raw ¹  or boiled in water, but roast it over the fire with its head, its legs, and its entrails.

At the two corners ¹  they must be doubled at the lower end and finished together at the top in one ring. So it will be for both.

There is to be an opening ¹  in its top ²  in the center of it, with an edge all around the opening, the work of a weaver, ³  like the opening of a collar, ⁴  so that it cannot be torn. ⁵
