You clothed ¹  me with skin and flesh and knit me together ²  with bones and sinews.

But ¹  Satan answered the Lord, “Skin for ²  skin! ³  Indeed, a man will give up ⁴  all that he has to save his life! ⁵ 

My servant is truly blind, my messenger is truly deaf. My covenant partner, ¹  the servant of the Lord, is truly blind. ² 

The Lord God made garments from skin ¹  for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.

‘Cursed is the one who misleads a blind person on the road.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, those who are deaf, even though they have ears!

But the hide of the bull, all its flesh along with its head and its legs, its entrails, and its dung –

“‘As for the priest who presents someone’s burnt offering, the hide of that burnt offering which he presented belongs to him.

or in the warp or woof ¹  of the linen or the wool, or in leather or anything made of leather, ² 

You must not curse a deaf person or put a stumbling block in front of a blind person. ¹  You must fear ²  your God; I am the Lord.

Then they must put over it a covering of fine leather ¹  and spread over that a cloth entirely of blue, and then they must insert its poles.

Then they must put it with all its utensils in a covering of fine leather, and put it on a carrying beam. ¹ 

You must purify each garment and everything that is made of skin, everything made of goat’s hair, and everything made of wood.” ¹ 

Then he had Zedekiah’s eyes put out and had him bound in chains ¹  to be led off to Babylon.

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone; ¹  and they were afraid to approach him.

If, however, the disease breaks out ¹  on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection ²  from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see, ³ 

The priest is to examine it, ¹  and if ²  the swelling of the infection is reddish white in the back or front bald area like the appearance of a disease on the skin of the body, ³ 

But if the priest examines it and ¹  the infection has not spread in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in any article of leather,

and he must wash in water any clothing or leather that has semen on it, and it will be unclean until evening.

Certainly ¹  no man who has a physical flaw is to approach: a blind man, or one who is lame, or one with a slit nose, ²  or a limb too long,
